The Canary Islands boast some of the finest conditions for kite boarding Europe offers. This goes for windsurfing Europe too. With miles of beautiful deserted beaches and constant winds blowing from across Africa, kite boarding lessons and windsurfing lessons couldn’t take place in a more ideal and scenic location.

Azul Surf Lodge will greet you at the airport or ferry port and take you to your relaxed and cosy accommodation. Here you will share a room (individual rooms available with supplement charge), within a secure and tranquil Spanish casa.
The mornings will greet you with a hearty Azul Surf Lodge breakfast and evening meals and snacks can also be arranged, as well as an ‘on the go’ lunch for your daily windsurfing lessons / kite boarding lessons.

Qualified windsurfing instructors or kite boarding instructors will instruct you throughout your windsurfing holidays / kite boarding holidays. And windsurfing lessons and kite boarding lessons will take place in the best conditions for you to develop your skills that day.

The Azul Surf Lodge is a short stroll from the beach and from Corralejo town centre (surf central, full of surf shops, cafes and bars to suite all tastes). Here you can hang out and relax between activities, the perfect solace for those chill-out hours between your windsurfing or kite boarding sessions.

The Azul Surf Lodge has everything you might need to enjoy your free time, including, DVD, internet, an eclectic blend of good tunes, and a library of books and games with a reading and chill-out room to enjoy them in (open 24hrs).

The surf lodge opens its doors for breakfast and keeps them open well beyond sunset, with themed nights out and evening activities arranged, including BBQs and movies. Of course, if relaxation is the theme of your holiday, then find a quiet space around the lodge, chill-out on the sun terrace, or dangle from a hammock beneath the Azul dreaming tree.

For those that want to complement their package with fitness and toning, Azul Surf Lodge offers the additional extras of fitness/ circuit training, pilates / stretch sessions. We also have a selection of beach activities organised for you, and free use of snorkelling and fishing equipment.

When you feel that your muscles have taken quite enough, or you simply want to be pampered, let our in-camp sports masseuse & beauty therapist rub away the aches, or simply soak up the sun. Then again, it’s your holiday, so why not have it all?

All equipment for kitesurf instruction and kitesurfaris is provided. Kite packages include IKO Certificates.

2 Day Kite Course – Beginner
Includes: Set up and flying a 2 line kite; theory; set up and handling of a 4 line kite; basic safety; relaunching the kite from water, piloting with 1 hand, bodydrag and waterstart theory.

3 Day Kite Course – Beginner
Includes 2 Day content plus bodydragging upwind; self rescue in water, waterstart and
first positioning for riding.

4 Day Kite Course – Beginner
Includes 3 Day Content plus diagnosis of weaker points and particulars such as
riding upwind; transitions

5 Day Kite Course – Beginner
Includes 4 Day Content and additional work dependent on progression over
the course of the week

1 Day Kite Course – Advanced
Includes work on: riding upwind, transitions, riding toeside, jumping and additional
work on weaker points
