TERMS & CONDITIONS


Transfer of booking:

You may transfer your booking to another person up to 30 days prior to departure, providing that the transferee meets any conditions which may apply to the holiday, and to the Azul Ocean Adventure accommodation. The right to transfer is subject to an administration fee of €25 per person, together with all additional charges imposed by the suppliers providing the component parts of the package.

Cancellation by the client:
You, or any member of your party, may cancel the booking at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the party leader who signed the booking form and that the cancellation is communicated to us in writing. As this incurs administrative costs, we will retain your deposit and in addition may apply cancellation charges up to the maximum shown as follows: 

• 49 days or more: Deposit only
• 29 – 49 days: 50% of total cost
• 28 – 22 days: 75% of total cost
• 21 days or fewer: 100% of total cost

Azul Ocean Adventures accept no responsibility whatsoever for cancellation due to flight companies or the clients’ inability / validity to travel. 

Cancellation by the company:
The company reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday. If we have to cancel your holiday, you will have the choice of taking an alternative holiday if we are able to offer one (and where this is of a lower price we will refund the difference), or withdrawing from the contract and accepting a full refund of all monies paid.

Weather and surf conditions:
Fuerteventura enjoys dry weather and consistent surf conditions. However, due to the unpredictable nature of sea and weather states, Azul Ocean Adventures can not be held responsible for unsuitable weather and surf conditions during your stay.  

Health & Fitness:
All surf participants must be able to swim at least 50metres. The client must be in no circumstances, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication while surfing, or undertaking any other physical activity, which may adversely affect their physical abilities. All clients must make Azul Ocean Adventures aware of any medical conditions, illnesses, or allergies they may have, and any prescribed medication they are taking, prior to surf sessions or physical activities. Azul Ocean Adventures assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of its own, its officers or agents.  

Insurance:
Azul Ocean Adventures accept no responsibility for loss or damage to persons and their belongings whilst on or traveling to/from their holiday, and require that all clients obtain holiday insurance that includes cover for surfing and related activities. Clients will be encouraged to join the BSA or equivalent for public liability cover. Information for this can be obtained from Azul Ocean Adventures.  

Clients’ Responsibility for accommodation:
Each person making a booking shall indemnify the company against all actions, loss, damages, and costs whatsoever, in consequence of any claim by any person arising out of any act or default on the part of the client from the date of departure to the return of the client to the country of the said person. Azul Ocean Adventures reserve the right to deal with or settle any such claims as they in their absolute discretion think fit. Azul Ocean Adventures takes no responsibility your personal belongings, money or travelers cheques, either inside or outside of the accommodation. However, we may, upon request, be able to provide you with a safe for your use during your stay, which you can use at your discretion.

Misconduct:
We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate without notice the holiday arrangements of any client whose behaviour is such that it is likely, in our opinion, or that of other agents or suppliers, to cause distress, damage, danger, or annoyance to other customers, property or any other third party. Under such circumstances we will be under no obligation whatsoever to offer any refund, pay compensation, or cover costs you may incur. Under no circumstances are you entitled to sublet your accommodation or package, with anyone other than that shown on your booking.

Excursions and additional activities:
Azul Ocean Adventures can inform you of additional activities and excursions that are available outside of the Standard holiday package. However, although we will do all we can to assist and organise the booking of additional activities and excursions, the contract for the provision of the excursion or activity will be between you and the supplier of the activity / excursion and not between yourself and Azul Ocean Adventures. Therefore, when you participate in the activity or excursion, your contract is with the local company and we have no liability whatsoever for anything which may go wrong on or with the excursion or activity.

Passports & Visa's
All UK Nationals traveling to the Canary Islands will require a full 10- year passport with at least 6 months validity for travel from the date of departure. No visas or medical certification or vaccination are required for EU Nationals.
